This hits me... strangely! I read in Scriptures the other day about fire consuming two of Aaron's sons in Leviticus. The study note said that it was a reminder that we exist for God, not vice versa.
God isn't just a human institution, or a plastic Sunday hang-out. There's so much more to Him than there is earthly definable.
And I love how he only shows us the way, one step at a time. One step after another (even if they are uncomfortable).
